Dear Readers:
This week, I was honored to learn that my book, Devolution of Power, Rolling Back the Federal State to Preserve the Republic, has been recognized as a finalist in the prestigious ‘Current Events’ category of the 21st Annual Best Book Awards, sponsored by the American Book Fest. The Best Book Awards is one of the largest international book award programs, reviewing thousands of entries from around the world and selecting the best among them.
In September 2024, Devolution of Power received an excellent review from the Midwest Review of Books. The review, which is highly influential in assisting libraries and academic institutions with book selection, highlighted the thoughtful nature of the book. It noted, “Libraries will want to acquire and recommend Devolution of Power as not just a study in American ideals and structure, but a proactive, positive statement of formulating a new direction for the nation, detailing exactly how to get there.”
In June 2024, Devolution of Power was also a finalist in the 18th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards in the category of “Politics.”
In May 2024, Devolution of Power received a Five-Star review from Readers’ Favorite.
My first book, Reform the Kakistocracy, Rule by the Least Able or Least Principled Citizens, won the 2021 Independent Press Award for Social/Political Change.
These reviews and awards demonstrate that the American public is open to new political ideas for moving our country forward. While my regular articles appear in several publications, all of my articles are accumulated at www.ReformTheKakistocracy.com and can be found in the site’s archives.
Sincerely,
William L. Kovacs
